Steve Hoffman started Raindancer Car Wash in 1981 on Freeman’s Bridge Road in Glenville. Raindancer’s second location on Albany Shaker Road in Colonie was established in 1985. Each location aims to shatter expectations and add a bit of unexpected charm with on-site koi ponds, perennial gardens, bird feeders/baths, decorative driftwood and stonework. The business marries modern wash technology with the look of yesteryears’ automotive greats with a motif inspired by the slick looks of the classic ’57 Chevy Bel Air.

A good word to describe Talin Rutan, the Licensed Massage Therapist behind UniKue Touch Massage Therapy, would be ‘genuine’. Of her work, Talin says, “I value every client, and my goal is to make sure the needs of my client are met at every session. I tailor every massage to fit my client's specifications to ensure they receive the proper care.”
Talin reflects these customer-centered ideals in her practice’s name; the ‘K’ in UniKue (pronounced just like ‘unique’) stands for Kindness, a staple in her pillars of virtues. “Customer Service is huge in my eyes.” Talin says, with an air of intense sincerity, “Shaking hands, thanking my clients, checking in during their massages making sure they're okay, that the pressure is okay and follow ups are huge to me. I truly care about every person who walks into my office. I feel honored and privileged to be working with each client.”
